The Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival brings engaging and theatrical Shakespearian experiences to the community of Victoria, British Columbia. Since 1991, the GVSF has created opportunities for local artists and has involved local businesses, educators and citizens to celebrate the theatrical arts in our community. For the last eleven years, the GVSF has performed outdoors on the beautiful grounds of Camosun College’s Lansdowne Campus, where audience members of diverse ages, cultures, and economic backgrounds are inspired every summer by the immortal words of Shakespeare under the stars.

OUTDOOR THEATRE IS A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE!

Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and cushions, although we have lots on hand. Our festival is the perfect spot for a picnic, and you can bring food to enjoy. We also have a wonderful concession, including Level Ground coffee, tea and hot chocolate, snacks and hot food, and our partnership with Dine-In Victoria means you can order a meal from Victoria’s best restaurants and have it delivered to you on-site. It gets quite chilly some nights when the sun goes down, so be sure to bring layers!

PARKING

Parking can be found in the lot off Lansdowne Road (Hillside Ave) nearest Dunlop House.  The Festival grounds are directly adjacent to this lot, and the ticket booth is immediately apparent. Because the College uses Robbins Parking to monitor their lots, a parking lot fee of $3.50 will be required for your car to be in the lot for the evening. You can also pay for parking with the Honk Mobile app.

TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE THROUGH THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE AS OF JUNE 1 – CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION
