MAY 1 – SEPT 25, 2022
Sundays: 11 AM – 4:00 PM
A unique and exciting place to shop for some local crafts and food items is the Public Market at Bastion Square.
Bastion Square is located in the heart of downtown Victoria, B.C. The ceremonial entry arch, located at View and Government Streets, welcomes visitors to the original site of old Fort Victoria.
The square looks out on the Inner Harbour and boasts the finest restaurants, pubs, and cafes in Victoria. In the summer, its seasonal artisan market and many outdoor patios make it an ideal spot to visit!
The Bastion Square Public Market stretches from Victoria’s waterfront on Wharf Street to Government Street through Bastion Square. This eclectic outdoor market brings liveliness to historic Bastion Square with its brilliant array of locally-produced arts, crafts and entertainment. On Sundays, the market expands onto Langford Street to include farmers selling their locally-grown produce and fruits, homemade breads and pastries, honey, preserves, chutneys and relishes, free range eggs and much more.

The Market features a unique selection of locally hand made products in the location where historic Fort Victoria once stood. On Sunday more vendors join the regulars offering an eclectic mix of arts, crafts and imports as well as outstanding entertainment. A unique selection of wood workers, potters, jewelers, leather workers, artists, fashion designers and many more friendly fine artisans are in attendance.
