Kick off Canada Day celebrations with “Sidney Days”
Each year, Sidney kicks of its Canada Day celebrations early with a “Sidney Days” launch on June 30th. This year’s evening event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Beacon Park and includes live music from Tune Raiders followed by a fireworks show.
On July 1st, community groups come together to create hours of excitement, beginning with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Sidney Lions Club, as well as a Canada Day parade and Family Fun Fair organized by Peninsula Celebrations.
The Build a Boat Challenge will be back again on Canada Day. Join in at Beacon Park to witness community members construct their own boats and set sail.
