Summer Music at Broadmead is a series of eclectic music the last four Saturdays in August sponsored by the Broadmead Area Residents’ Association and Broadmead Village.

The concerts are presented at Broadmead Village, Highway17 and Royal Oak Drive, in the plaza, surrounded by sidewalk cafes, an intimate and rewarding venue for musician and listener alike.
The lineup of bands:
August 10, The Flying Saucers, Victoria-jazz-scene stalwarts playing swing, jazz and the American Songbook;
August 17, Bijoux du Bayou, quintet of fiddle, guitar, accordion, bass, and drums playing Zydeco/Cajun/New Orleans tunes;
August 24, Knacker’s Yard, an accomplished young Celtic band playing Irish, Scottish and English jigs, reels, airs and ballads; and
August 31, Harris Gilmore & The Mojos, smokin’ blues harmonica, incendiary guitar, funkefied bass, and monster drumming.
