MARCH 28 & 29, 2020
WILD ARC – 1020 Malloch Rd, Metchosin
This fascinating opportunity to go behind the scenes at Wild ARC happens only once a year. The tour takes place at the Wild ARC facility in Metchosin, just outside Victoria, accompanied by one of our experienced volunteer guides. Due to high demand, reservations are necessary to ensure all guests get the most out of their experience.
While no wild patients will be on display (we need to make sure their recovery takes place with as little stress as possible) there will be educational raptors on site, as well as children’s activities and educational displays from several community groups.
The event is free but cash and in-kind (food, supplies) donations are much appreciated and will go towards the continued life-saving work at Wild ARC. Operating 365 days a year, Wild ARC’s specialized team of staff and volunteers have cared for more than 42,000 wild patients since opening in 1997.
Any reservation questions such as large groups, or requests for special accessible tours for those with mobility issues, can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org (please note this email account is only monitored March 1 – March 31).
The annual Open House weekend happens rain or shine, and always fills up quickly. Please help us spread the word about this exciting event, and reserve your visit today!
