Beach Volley Ball in Victoria
There are lots of sandy beaches around Victoria and depending on the day and the weather you can find people playing beach volley ball on some of them. However, There are a couple of permanent courts in the area and are listed below.
Beach Volley Ball at Tulista Park in Sidney
The sand volley ball court in Tulista Park is available for anyone to use on a first come, first served basis. It is open daily from 8:00 AM to Dusk. You are asked to restrict playing times to 45 minutes if others are waiting, so please be courteous and respectful if you do go out to play. The court is built to Volleyball Canada’s competitive standards with a 14 x 24 meter sand area to allow a run-out space beyond the 9 x 18 meter court size. This allows for up to 6 players per side. There is good parking right at the park which can be quite busy on nice days, but there is additional parking on the other side of the street at Iroquois Park. For more information: Tulista Park
Royal Bay Beach Park
Visit the Royal Beach Park in Colwood for its oceanside playground, Olympic sized volleyball courts, spectacular ocean views, and access to the public waterfront that connects to Esquimalt Lagoon and Albert Head Lagoon.
You’ll find the Beach Park at the corner of Metchosin Road and Latoria Boulevard – head toward the ocean!
The Royal Beach Park is owned and operated by Seacliff Properties. It is open to the public every day from dawn until dusk.
Worth mentioning two courts in Royal Bay Beach, open from May to November too.

Thanks for the tip! I have included it!

There are more sand volley courts around if you want to include them, however, like Stratachona, they are not free, and you gotta book them in advance:
· Two sand courts with nets at Ian H Stewart Complex, Gordon Head Road.
· Two sand courts next to Juan De Fuca Golf Course
Do you need to bring a ball or is there one available??
Hi Areen, I’m sorry but i don’t know the answer to that. You’d have to contact the individual place(s) to get that information. I know that right now most places are closed for the winter.
Cheers!

Strathcona Hotel Rooftop supplies 1 sanitized vball per group/booking. The other places have no balls available.
Sydney is up all winter, Royal Bay only from May to November and Strathcona Hotel Rooftop is not available in the winter, you need to book it in advance, better call.
