Disc Golf – or Frisbee Golf – is a great way to be outside and to get some fresh air and exercise without having to spend large amounts of money on equipment and without having a great deal of expertise. It’s just fun!
As of this posting, there’s only one dedicated disc golf course in Victoria:
Metchosin Golf & Country Club is very excited to announce that SIDGS (South Island Disc Golf Society) has built an 18 hole disc golf course on the property.
The disc golfers will not be interfering with the flow of regular golfers, as the disc golf course closely follows the same route as the regular golf course.

The first free public disc golf course in the Greater Victoria Area.
The targets are tonal poles and the course makes use of the natural landscape of Layritz Park [PDF – 365 KB] adjacent to the Vancouver Island Technology Park. The start of the course is situated next to the VITP park entrance – find the sign near the ball field!
Here is another disc golf course that you can consider … but ONLY on Thursday nites.
There is a disc golf course at Mary’s Farm and Sanctuary. All information regarding access, tournaments and other special events can be found here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1051773148271545/about/
Currently, we are only open for disc golf play on Thursday nights from 5-9. Please be respectful of the many other programs that happen up there and do not come up for play at unscheduled times.
