AFTERNOON TEA

It’s often said that Victoria is more British than Canadian.  With this strong sense of British Heritage, it’s no wonder that one of the most favorite activities in Victoria is to partake of afternoon ‘High Tea’.

There are a number of places that offer this genteel meal … here are some suggestions:

The Butchart Gardens

800 Benvenuto Ave, Brentwood Bay

The Empress (of course!)

Hotel Grand Pacific

309 Belleville St.

The Teahouse at Abkhazi Gardens

1964 Fairfield Rd., Victoria

Venus Sophia

540 Fisgard St.
