I've lived in Victoria over 30 years and I still can't believe how great this city really is! My husband, Bruce, and I have traveled the world but coming home to Victoria is still quite often a celebration. Together, we want to share our love of the city and the area by giving you an 'insider's' insights of where to go - what to do - and how to get there!

WALKING AROUND DOWNTOWN VICTORIA, BC

Victoria is a great place for walking. Long walks or short ... there is something for everyone! THE BUTCHART GARDENS

No visit to Victoria would be complete without a visit to the world renowned Butchart Gardens! No matter if you're not ga-ga for gardens, Butchart Gardens is an amazing place nonetheless! Being a fairly large city, there are many options for grocery shopping in Victoria. ROYAL BC MUSEUM, VICTORIA, BC

A must-do for any visitor to Victoria is a trip to the Royal BC Museum. Located at 675 Belleville St., across from the Provincial Legislature Bldgs., and just down from the Empress Hotel/Convention Centre, the Royal BC Museum is a great way to spend a few hours - or while away an afternoon!
